UK VISA DOCUMENTS REQUIREMENTS

 

Passport and Additional Requirements

  • Original passport required: Valid for at least 6 months from UK departure with 2 blank pages. Include any old passports.
  • In-person visit to the visa application center for biometric submission and document submission.
  • All documents must be in English or accompanied by an official translation. Additional documents may be requested by the High Commission on a case-by-case basis.
  • Travel Itinerary (ticket)
  • Stay Itinerary (hotel)
  • Covering letter addressed to The Visa Officer, British High Commission explaining the reason of travel with name

Financial Documents

  • Last 3 years personal Income Tax Returns
  • Personal bank statement for last 6 months with bank’s sign & seal showing sufficient balance and cash flow
  • If sponsored trip the sponsors Financial Documents are required as same as above.

Employed

  • Company appointment letter
  • Salary slips for the last 6 months
  • Leave sanction letter and no objection certificate from employer mentioning the dates of leave sanctioned on company letterhead along with the name, designation, signature and contact information of the authorized signatory

Govt. Employee

  • NOC from Govt., or Leave.
  • Letter mentioned the purpose of leave

Honeymoon Couples

  • Marriage certificate & Wedding Invitation or Name
  • Endorsement in the spouse passport.

Couple

  • NOC from girl’s parents on 20.Rs Stamp paper
  • Duly attested by Notary public. (Format will be given on request)
  • 03 – 04 photographs of engagement.

Self-employed

  • Cover Letter, with the business letterhead.
  • Business registration certificate; can be any of GST certificate, Certificate of Incorporation, Partnership deed, MOA, etc.
  • Add valid proprietorship proof.

Student

  • Bonafied certificate and Leave letter from educational institution
  • Student identity card copy

Unaccompanied Child below 18 Year of Age

  • NOC from parents on 20Rs. Stamp paper duly
  • Signed by parents & attested by Notary Public (Format will be given on request)
  • Father’s & Mother’s passports copies (first & last page) for signature proof.

Retired

  • Retirement Proof (OR)
  • Pension slip for the last 3 months.

Charitable Trust

  • Employment proof & sponsoring
  • Letter from the Trust
  • Registration copies of the Trust.

Investment Documents

  • Investments such as: Property Ownership, Life Insurance, Fixed Deposits Or Demat Holdings Statement

Conditional Requirements

Marriage certificate

  • Applicable, if the spouses name is not mentioned at the back of the passport.

Applicable, if staying with friends and family

  • Copy of Passport and Visa of the Inviter
